Where are you in the process right now?

How this planner works

Pick the stage that sounds closest to where you are right now, from not yet started to a few sessions in. The planner then explains what usually happens at that stage. It also explains how the number of sessions is actually decided.

It is a guide, not a fixed schedule. Every plan is set and reviewed with the physiotherapist directly.

Why there is no fixed number of sessions

Families often want a clear number upfront. It is a direct question to ask. But two people with the same condition can need very different support, depending on how they respond and what the goal is.

A home visit plan is not a fixed course. It is built around a small number of clear goals, reviewed openly at each stage. That way you are never paying for sessions that are not helping.

What a first block usually includes

A first block typically starts with the basics: safe movement, the area that needs the most work, and the daily tasks the family cares about most, such as getting to the bathroom safely.

From there, the plan builds on what the person can already do. The caregiver is shown what to practise in between visits.

When it is time to talk about what is next

If progress feels slow or has plateaued, that is a good moment for a clear conversation. It is not a sign to simply continue, and not a sign to simply stop.

A physiotherapist can explain whether the goal needs adjusting. They can also say whether a short pause and review would help, or whether a different focus would help more than repeating the same sessions.

What the planner covers

The planner asks where you are in the process. The stages run from not yet started to a few sessions in with progress that has slowed. Each stage leads to a clear explanation of what usually happens next, and how the number of sessions is actually decided.

If none of the stages fits exactly, a short message still gets you a clear answer about what we would suggest for your situation.

Common questions

Common questions

Does this planner tell me exactly how many sessions we will need?

No. No straightforward source can give a fixed number before an assessment, because it depends on the person and the goal. What this planner gives you is a clear, straightforward sense of how that number is actually decided.

What if we are between two stages?

Pick the one that feels closest. The result is a starting point for a conversation, not a fixed label, and we are glad to talk through the specifics on WhatsApp.

What happens after I get a result?

You can send us the result on WhatsApp with one tap. We reply to talk through the situation, including what a next block of visits could look like.
